1. TRADE ACCOUNT MANAGER
​
We are looking for an experienced trade account manager to join our sales team delivering growth in both beer and spirits via the on and off trade. You will be joining one of Scotlands few breweries and distilleries and will help in growing our sales in our existing beer products and new spirits. This is a key role in expanding our existing and new brands to the Scottish and wider UK market.
​
​Salary:
Dependent on experience, includes company car, mobile phone and laptop
Location:
​
This is a hybrid role with time spent at home, with regular travel to customers on the west coast of Scotland and NW England. Those located in or prepared to-relocate to Glasgow or surrounding area preferred.
​
Hours / Days of Work:
Full time permanent position Monday to Friday, 35 hours but flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend work.
​
Role:
Reporting into the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customers as well as new customer acquisition in both beer and spirits with a wide variety of customers including pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants and alcohol retail businesses. Ensuring customer requirements are met and opportunities maximised at all times. You may be required to attend occasional trade events at home or even overseas.

Responsibilities:

Drive New Business within our direct delivery routes.

Grow business with our existing customer base in both beer and spirits.

Manage customers to ensure we provide an excellent customer experience and work with senior management to excel and exceed targets.

Provide regular reporting on account updates

We are looking for a candidate with:

Experience in selling into pubs, other on trade and retail businesses

Demonstrate a track record in beer and or spirit sales

Good communication and presentation skills

Proficient in use of CRM systems

Great organisational skills with attention to detail

Drivers licence essential
-
Able to work alone as well as part of a team

2. FINANCE MANAGER / ADMINISTRATOR FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS MATERNITY COVER
​​
We are looking for Maternity cover for a full-time Finance Manager/Administrator to run all aspects of the finance function. Whilst this post is a fixed term of 12 months, it may become permanent. You will be responsible for the daily input of accounts to trial balance, process monthly wages and complete the quarterly VAT returns. You will be expected to produce management accounts, maintain and forecast the company cash flow. Reconciliation of accounts including bank and petty cash.
General admin duties.
​
You will need to be self-motivated and take ownership of the role and the various aspects associated with it, including setting up processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and useful information to help the business make the right decisions. You should possess strong business acumen to be able and willing to challenge the existing management team when necessary.
​
Being part of a small business the role will be varied and you must be willing to work as part of a team to ensure the business needs are met.
Strong experience of Xero is required and must be comfortable with excel and other computer packages.
There is a degree of flexibility in the working pattern.

3. TAPROOM AND SHOP SHIFT MANAGER
​
We are looking for a part-time taproom and shop shift manager to run the day to day bar/shop operations, create an inviting, relaxing space for regular and new customers alike and lead the team in all aspects of customer service. This is an exciting role for a pro-active and passionate individual, with plenty of opportunity to develop new ideas/events that will drive footfall.
​
Responsibilities include working with Tap manager to achieve
​

Day-to-day running of the Taproom and open/close procedures
-
Manage a dedicated team including training and shift-planning
-
Drive the planning, marketing and execution of events.
-
Work with the management team to assess and implement new offerings.
-
Oversee cellar maintenance and beer quality standards.
-
Manage stock.
-
Manage our kitchen operation for events or any third party.
-
Manage all customer bookings.
-
Manage marketing of the taproom, events, shop and products on sale through social media
Requirements

Demonstrable passion for beer and customer service

Strong cellar management skills, confident dealing with cask beer, different types of kegs, increasing and reducing gas pressures, line cleaning as all desired, but training will be given

Strong communication skills, line of contact between bar team and the brewery
-
Proactive attitude to drive the Taproom forward and explore new opportunities.

People person with a strong community focus

License Holder (desirable).

Understand food hygiene and preferably hold a food hygiene certificate.

Competent in the use of social media.

Permission to work in the UK.

Please note, your own transport is an advantage although there is a train every 30 minutes from Renton station which is under 10 minutes’ walk away.

This a part-time position, approx. 20 hours/week to include weekends and bank holidays. There will be the opportunity to make up extra hours with the production team in the brewery if you are looking for more of a full-time role.

4. BREWERY ASSISTANT – temporary summer position
​
Loch Lomond Brewery are seeking summer team members to assist with our busy summer production. The starting date is negotiable but we hope it to be at the end of May at the latest.
As well as brewing beer for over 13 years we have just launched our spirit brand Levenbank Distillery.
Key Responsibilities:
​
This is an entry level role created for assisting in all areas of production from cellar work to despatch. You will spend time in various areas such as cellar duties, packaging, warehousing, despatch (which covers online shop), pallet loading and securing & direct distribution, and all tasks that support the process from beginning to end. Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll work a 5-day week, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.

Duties include:

Assisting with cellar operations – using CIP equipment, readiness for packaging

Packaging – Packing and palletising the end product and food safety QA checks.

Warehousing – General organisation, stock checks, stock rotation between storage areas

Despatch – Pallet loading, online shop, direct despatch & direct deliveries

Ensuring site cleanliness in line with SALSA food safety standards
